Slavkov / Austerlitz 1805" that was awarded in the competition of museum expositions Gloria Musaealis 2005. Apart from a series of exhibits, the exposition hall is also provided with monitors and touch displays with a database of texts, illustrations, animations and film scenes. Lease: The central part of the pavilion interior is a multipurpose hall - variable space of 160 m2 used for occasional exhibitions, workshops, as a lecture hall or as a projection hall and also as a room for working with children. In the memorial area there is a memorial ceremony taking place at the turn of November and December in order to honour the fallen as a culmination of events marking the anniversary of the Battle of Austerlitz. Visitors' stay at the Cairn of Peace will be made more pleasant thanks to the presence of a café with a view of Brno. Both the café and exposition are wheelchair-accessible. THE CAIRN OF PEACE MEMORIAL It was built in memory of the victims of Napoleon's victorious Battle of Austerlitz (2 December 1805) according to the priest A. Sovák's plans to create a place of reverence, war memorial of the former battlefield. As a natural centre it dominates the protected historic area of the Slavkov Battlefield.
